These sheets are for people managing care at home for an elderly parent, a spouse recovering from surgery, or anyone with ongoing medical needs. They cover the practical, repeating work of caregiving: tracking daily vitals and symptoms, keeping appointment records, coordinating with a care team, monitoring supplies and equipment, and staying on top of costs. Medication schedules are handled separately under the Medication topic. Every sheet here prints on a single page and is designed to be filled in by hand.

How to use them

Start by identifying where your biggest gaps are. If you are handing care between family members or paid helpers, the Sign-Up Sheets and the Daily Planner section will anchor your day. If you are preparing for a doctor visit or a discharge from hospital, pull from the Log Sheets and Checklists first. The Budget Sheets and Inventory Lists work best as monthly resets — print a fresh copy at the start of each month. The Habit Tracker section suits solo carers who want a simple daily or weekly structure without managing a full planner.

Questions

Do these sheets cover medication tracking as well? No. Medication doses, schedules, and administration records are kept in the separate Medication section of this site, so the caregiving sheets stay focused on appointments, vitals, tasks, supplies, and costs.

Can I use these sheets if more than one person shares the caring responsibilities? Yes, and several sheets are designed specifically for that situation — the Care Team Contact Sign-Up, Daily Caregiver Shift Cover, and Caregiver Handoff Day Sheet are all built around handing information between multiple carers.

How do I keep track of what I am spending on care each month? The Budget Sheet section includes three formats: a full monthly overview, a week-by-week spending log, and a sheet focused on out-of-pocket expenses that insurance does not cover — use whichever matches how you prefer to review your costs.
