Chores & Kids printables

Chore charts, reward charts and routines for children (toddler through teen) plus whole-family chore rotation.

Chore charts here are written by age: a few big-box jobs for toddlers and preschoolers, a first weekly chart for ages 5 to 8, rotations and point ledgers for ages 9 to 14, and shared-household charts that work for teens and adults. Reward and routine charts follow the same bands, so start with the age and pick the format second.

About chores & Kids printables

This collection covers the practical work of building chore habits at every age, from simple picture-based tasks for toddlers to skill-building responsibilities for teenagers. Sheets are designed for real households: single children, siblings sharing a rotation, or a whole family tracking contributions side by side. Whether you need a one-page daily prompt, a weekly reward chart, or a recurring habit log, every printable here is made to be filled in by hand, pinned to a fridge, and actually used.

How to use them

Start by matching the sheet format to the problem you are solving. The Weekly Planner section suits families who want to plan tasks in advance and see the whole week at a glance, including both individual and shared rotations. The Habit Tracker section is better when the goal is consistency over time — building a daily or nightly routine that becomes automatic. The Checklist section works best as a hands-on reference a child checks off independently. You can combine formats: pair the Kids Weekly Chore Reward Chart with the Kids Daily Chore Tracker to cover both planning and accountability.

Questions

What age is each printable designed for? Each sheet title or description specifies an age range — Preschooler Daily Chores targets roughly ages 2 to 4, Weekly Chores: Ages 5–8 matches early-primary children, and Teen Chore Skill Builder is written for ages 13 and up. The family rotation sheets are age-neutral and meant for mixed-age households.

Do these sheets use a reward or points system? The Kids Weekly Chore Reward Chart includes a built-in space to track earned rewards, while the tracker and checklist sheets focus on completion rather than incentives, so you can apply whatever reward approach your family already uses.

Can I reuse the same sheet each week without reprinting? The sheets are designed for pen or pencil use, so the simplest approach is to print one copy per week, but if you place a sheet inside a clear plastic sleeve you can write on it with a dry-erase marker and wipe it clean for the next cycle.
