About these caregiving Monthly Calendar sheets

These three printable sheets cover the organisational side of caring for an elderly parent or seriously ill family member across a full calendar month. Monthly Care Appointments uses a classic month grid to map visits, home-care calls, and support services at a glance. Monthly Caregiver Task Log adds a sidebar to capture daily tasks, symptom changes, and supply shortfalls alongside the grid. Monthly Care Costs Log works through the month day by day, recording every out-of-pocket expense and invoice.

Choosing between them

Start with Monthly Care Appointments if your main challenge is keeping multiple people — therapists, district nurses, transport — from clashing, or if you hand the calendar to someone else covering your absence. Add the Monthly Caregiver Task Log when the person you care for has variable symptoms or fluctuating needs that a doctor will want to review. Use Monthly Care Costs Log if you are tracking reimbursable expenses, splitting costs with siblings, or building evidence for a benefits application. Many caregivers print all three and keep them in a single folder.

What each sheet contains

“Monthly Care Appointments” is the classic month grid layout — a full-width 7 × 6 month grid with a date corner in every cell and three labelled boxes across the foot (e.g. key dates, goals, notes). Its box headings run to three entries, starting with “Upcoming Appointments”, “Care-Team Contacts” and “Supply & Cost Notes”.

“Monthly Caregiver Task Log” is the grid with sidebar layout — a 7 × 6 month grid taking two-thirds of the width, with a sidebar of four goal lines, a six-item checklist and a reminder box. Its checklist items run to six entries, starting with “Reorder supplies / incontinence”, “Confirm respite cover dates” and “Update care-team contact list”.

“Monthly Care Costs Log” is the day list layout — days 1–31 as two columns of numbered writing lines, a 'focus this month' box at the top and a two-prompt review at the bottom. Its review prompts run to two entries, starting with “What was the single largest unexpected cost this month?” and “Which recurring expense could be reduced or claimed back?”.

Printing

Each of the three caregiving Monthly Calendar sheets downloads as a PDF in US Letter or A4 from its own page, laid out in black and white so it prints on any home or office printer. Nothing on the page is carried by colour, the fields are sized for handwriting, and the same layout can be refilled with your own labels in the generator.
