About these chores & Kids Chore Chart sheets

These three sheets cover chore routines from toddler age through the early teens. My First Chore Chart gives children aged 5–8 a full week of simple daily jobs with tick boxes and a reward line. Family Chore Rotation spreads ten shared household jobs across four members aged 9–14 and rotates assignments by column swap each week. Morning Helper Chart sequences seven get-ready tasks in order for children aged 2–4, with large tick boxes and plain words.

Choosing between them

Start with Morning Helper Chart if your child is 2–4 and needs a visual prompt to get dressed, brush teeth, and leave the house without reminders — the ordered layout matches the sequence of a real morning. Move to My First Chore Chart once a child is reading and ready for a full week of varied jobs and a small reward. Use Family Chore Rotation when two or more siblings aged 9 and up are old enough to take on the heavier household jobs and fairness between people matters as much as consistency.

What each sheet contains

“My First Chore Chart” is the weekly grid layout — ten chores down the side against seven day columns of large tick boxes, a name line above the grid, an optional days-done column and a reward line at the foot. Landscape. Its task labels run to ten entries, starting with “Make my bed (pull up the covers)”, “Get dressed and put PJs away” and “Brush teeth — morning”.

“Family Chore Rotation” is the by person layout — ten chores down the side against three (or four) name columns with a tick box in every cell, a line to write each name on, a rotation note under the grid and a notes box at the foot. Landscape. Its task labels run to ten entries, starting with “Vacuum living room & hallway”, “Mop kitchen & bathroom floors” and “Clean both bathroom sinks & mirrors”.

“Morning Helper Chart” is the daily strip layout — one day's chores as seven tall rows, each with a large tick box and the chore in big type, a name line at the top and an all-done box at the foot. Portrait. Its task labels run to seven entries, starting with “Get out of bed”, “Use the toilet” and “Wash your hands”.

Printing

Each of the three chores & Kids Chore Chart sheets downloads as a PDF in US Letter or A4 from its own page, laid out in black and white so it prints on any home or office printer. Nothing on the page is carried by colour, the fields are sized for handwriting, and the same layout can be refilled with your own labels in the generator.
