Choosing between them

Choose the Homework & Revision Star Chart if a parent or carer wants to monitor several habits at once — completing homework, reading notes, practising problems — session by session over a fortnight. Choose the 30 Study Sessions Star Chart if the main problem is simply sitting down to study at all; it asks only that a session happened, nothing more. Choose the Exam Revision Points Chart when a student has real exam dates approaching and needs to prioritise harder revision tasks over easier ones, tracking effort as a points total against a set reward goal.

What each sheet contains

“Homework & Revision Star Chart” is the star grid layout — five goals down the side with fourteen circles across each row to colour in or sticker, a name line at the top, an optional stars-earned column and a reward box at the foot. Its goal labels run to five entries, starting with “Read notes for 20 min without phone”, “Complete all homework before dinner” and “Review yesterday's work before new topic”.

“30 Study Sessions Star Chart” is the single goal layout — one goal written large at the top, thirty big numbered circles in three rows of ten with milestone rings at 10, 20 and 30, three milestone reward lines and a big-reward box at the foot. Its milestone labels run to three entries, starting with “10 sessions: Choose tonight's dinner”, “20 sessions: One hour of free-choice screen time” and “30 sessions: Big reward below”.

“Exam Revision Points Chart” is the points ledger layout — a points menu of six tasks and their values in a box at the top, a name and saving-up-for line, then a sixteen-row ledger of date, task, points earned and running total. Its menu items run to six entries, starting with “25-min focused revision block — 3 pts”, “Completed a past paper or practice test — 6 pts” and “Made summary notes or flash cards — 4 pts”.

Printing

Each of the three study Reward Chart sheets downloads as a PDF in US Letter or A4 from its own page, laid out in black and white so it prints on any home or office printer. Nothing on the page is carried by colour, the fields are sized for handwriting, and the same layout can be refilled with your own labels in the generator.
