About these study Checklist sheets
These three printable checklists cover the practical work of studying: the Exam Week Study Checklist keeps each individual study session structured and consistent, the Assignment Submission Checklist walks through every stage of written work from first research notes to final handover, and the Revision Countdown Checklist spreads preparation across six weeks in four distinct phases. All three print cleanly in black and white and are designed to be filled in by hand.
Choosing between them
Use the Exam Week Study Checklist when exams are imminent and you need a repeatable routine you can run through each day of the exam period, for any subject. Use the Assignment Submission Checklist when you have a specific written piece due and want to avoid overlooking steps like citation checks or file format requirements. Use the Revision Countdown Checklist earlier in the term, when you have six or more weeks before a written exam and need to plan your preparation in stages rather than session by session.
What each sheet contains
“Exam Week Study Checklist” is the single column layout — three headed sections of seven pre-filled checkbox items each down one column, optional blank extra lines per section, and a notes box at the foot. Its section 1 items run to seven entries, starting with “Write today's subject and specific topic at the top of your notes”, “Set a timer for your planned session length (e.g. 45 min)” and “Put your phone in another room or enable Do Not Disturb”.
“Assignment Submission Checklist” is the two columns layout — four headed sections of eight pre-filled checkbox items each, two sections per column, with a notes box across the foot. Its section 1 items run to eight entries, starting with “Question or brief read twice, fully understood”, “Key terms defined and noted” and “Minimum source count reached”.
“Revision Countdown Checklist” is the phased timeline layout — four time-phased sections (e.g. '8 weeks before', 'Day of') of six pre-filled items each, with an optional done-date column on the right. Its phase 1 items run to six entries, starting with “Collect all notes, handouts, and textbook chapters for the subject”, “List every topic on the syllabus; mark which you know well or poorly” and “Source or make a past-paper pack (minimum 3 full papers)”.
Printing
Each of the three study Checklist sheets downloads as a PDF in US Letter or A4 from its own page, laid out in black and white so it prints on any home or office printer. Nothing on the page is carried by colour, the fields are sized for handwriting, and the same layout can be refilled with your own labels in the generator.
