What this sheet is for

This chart is for a child who has a fitness goal — running more, keeping up with a sport, or simply moving their body regularly — and needs something visible to mark the progress. It works best when the goal is written in the child's own words at the top, so ownership of the effort is clear from the start.

How to use it

Write the child's name and their fitness goal on the lines at the top, then agree on what counts as one workout before you begin. After each session, the child colours in the next numbered circle. At circle 10 and circle 20, the Milestone Rewards section tells both of you what small treat is coming. The double rings around circles 10, 20 and 30 signal those moments clearly on the chart. When circle 30 is coloured, fill in the big-reward box together and hand over the reward.

What is printed on the page

“30 Workouts Done” is laid out as single goal: one goal written large at the top, thirty big numbered circles in three rows of ten with milestone rings at 10, 20 and 30, three milestone reward lines and a big-reward box at the foot. Under the title it reads “Colour a circle every time you complete a workout — reach 30 to earn your big reward.”, and the line at the foot of the page says “Each circle counts as one workout session, however short. Rest days keep your body strong — they count too.”.

The milestone labels slot holds three entries — “10 workouts: choose tonight's dinner”, “20 workouts: pick a fun family activity” and “30 workouts: earn your big reward below” — so the sheet is already filled in for fitness rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.

The remaining labels on “30 Workouts Done”, the fitness sheet, are “Name” for the name label, “My fitness goal” for the goal prompt, “Milestone Rewards” for the milestones heading and “My big reward at 30 workouts” for the reward prompt.

Two things about this particular single goal are settings rather than text, and “30 Workouts Done” has them set like this. Milestone rings is on: draw a double ring around circles 10, 20 and 30. Reward box is on: include the big-reward box at the foot.

Tips

Agree in advance what counts as one workout — a 15-minute bike ride or a full sports session both qualify, as long as the rule is consistent.

Let the child colour the circle immediately after finishing, while the effort is still fresh; delayed colouring breaks the habit loop.

If motivation dips around circles 12 to 18, revisit the goal written at the top and remind the child how close the next milestone ring is.

The other layouts in this set

“30 Workouts Done” is one of three sheets in this set, each a different fixed layout filled for the same topic. “Kids Active Week Chart” uses the star grid layout and “After-School Move Points” uses the points ledger layout. Pick by how you work: the layout decides how much you write and where, not what the sheet is about.
