About these meal Planning Weekly Planner sheets

These three sheets cover the same week but approach it differently. The Cook-Once Meal Plan organises your days around batch cooking sessions, so one afternoon of work feeds several meals. The Use What You Have Week builds the whole plan from ingredients already in your kitchen, reducing waste and shopping. The Weekly Meal Prep Tracker pairs daily meals with two dedicated prep sessions, giving you a clear schedule of when food gets made and what it covers.

Choosing between them

If you set aside one or two hours to cook in bulk and then assemble meals through the week, the Cook-Once Meal Plan suits that rhythm. If the fridge and cupboards are full and you want to clear them before shopping again, use the Use What You Have Week. If you cook regularly for the week ahead and want to track exactly which prep session produces which meals, the Weekly Meal Prep Tracker gives you that structure. All three work for one person or a household.

What each sheet contains

“Cook-Once Meal Plan” is the seven-row week layout — one tall row per day (Monday–Sunday) split into three labelled columns, with a three-prompt box across the foot of the page. Its column headings run to three entries, starting with “Meals (B / L / D / Snack)”, “Prep Needed” and “Uses Batch Cook?”.

“Use What You Have Week” is the day boxes with goals layout — three goal lines across the top, seven boxed days in a 4 + 3 grid with a faint hint in each, and a two-prompt review box at the bottom. Its goal prompts run to three entries, starting with “Ingredient to use up before it spoils”, “Protein source to build meals around” and “One new recipe to try with on-hand items”.

“Weekly Meal Prep Tracker” is the weekly tracker table layout — eight labelled rows against seven day columns of checkboxes, an optional totals column, and two short note sections underneath. Its row labels run to eight entries, starting with “Monday breakfast”, “Monday lunch” and “Tuesday – Thursday lunch”.

Printing

Each of the three meal Planning Weekly Planner sheets downloads as a PDF in US Letter or A4 from its own page, laid out in black and white so it prints on any home or office printer. Nothing on the page is carried by colour, the fields are sized for handwriting, and the same layout can be refilled with your own labels in the generator.
