Room-by-room deep-clean supply checklist for homeowners to audit scrubbers, disinfectants, tools, and protective gear before a thorough clean.

What this sheet is for

Most deep cleans stall halfway through because something runs out — the right scrubber is missing, the oven spray is nearly empty, or there are no fresh gloves. This sheet helps you audit your supplies before you start, so every product and piece of equipment is confirmed and ready. It is designed to be filled in the day before a scheduled deep clean, not on the morning itself.

How to use it

Work through the four sections in order: Scrubbing and Abrasives covers pastes, powders and stiff brushes for heavy grime; Disinfectants and Sprays covers chemical treatments including bleach, descaler and mould removers; Tools and Equipment covers reusable hardware from mop to vacuum; Protective and Disposal covers safety wear and waste materials. For each item, tick Have or Need and record the Qty you currently hold. Use the Low Stock and Substitutions box to note items you can substitute temporarily and anything to add to your shopping list.

What is printed on the page

“Deep-Clean Supply Checklist” is laid out as grouped sections: four boxed groups in a 2 × 2 grid, each headed and holding six pre-filled items with 'have' and 'need' columns, and a notes box at the foot. Under the title it reads “Track what you have and what to buy before your next deep clean.”, and the line at the foot of the page says “Check expiry dates on disinfectants and mould sprays — most lose effectiveness 12–24 months after opening.”.

The group labels slot holds four entries — “Scrubbing & Abrasives”, “Disinfectants & Sprays”, “Tools & Equipment” and “Protective & Disposal” — so the sheet is already filled in for cleaning rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.

The group 1 items slot holds six entries — “Cream cleanser (tub/bottle)”, “Bicarbonate of soda / baking soda”, “Bar or powder scouring pad”, “Pumice stone (toilet limescale)”, “Grout brush with stiff bristles” and “Steel wool or copper scrubber” — so the sheet is already filled in for cleaning rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.

The group 2 items slot holds six entries — “Disinfectant spray (multi-surface)”, “Bleach or bleach-based cleaner”, “Mould and mildew remover spray”, “Glass and mirror cleaner”, “Descaler (kettle / shower head)” and “Oven degreaser spray or gel” — so the sheet is already filled in for cleaning rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.

The group 3 items slot holds six entries — “Microfibre cloths (min. 6)”, “Long-handle scrubbing brush”, “Steam mop or standard mop”, “Vacuum with attachments”, “Squeegee (window / shower)” and “Bucket (10 L / 2.5 gal minimum)” — so the sheet is already filled in for cleaning rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.

The group 4 items slot holds six entries — “Rubber gloves (heavy-duty)”, “Disposable nitrile gloves”, “Safety goggles or glasses”, “Dust mask or respirator”, “Heavy-duty bin bags / trash bags” and “Old towels or drop cloths” — so the sheet is already filled in for cleaning rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.

The column headings slot holds two entries — “Have” and “Need” — so the sheet is already filled in for cleaning rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.

The remaining labels on the page are “Deep-clean date” for the date label and “Low stock & substitutions” for the notes heading.

Two things about this particular grouped sections are settings rather than text, and “Deep-Clean Supply Checklist” has them set like this. Notes box is on: include the notes box at the foot. Qty column is on (the opposite of the layout's default): add a third narrow 'Qty' column to each group.

Tips

Fill in the Qty column the night before shopping so you buy exact amounts and avoid duplicates already under the sink.

Keep one completed sheet per deep clean to build a record of what you consistently run out of each session.

Group your Need items by shop aisle — chemical sprays, hardware tools and disposables are often in different sections.

The other layouts in this set

“Deep-Clean Supply Checklist” is one of three sheets in this set, each a different fixed layout filled for the same topic. “Cleaning Supplies Inventory” uses the item table layout and “Cleaning Cupboard Stock Log” uses the blank grid with legend layout. Pick by how you work: the layout decides how much you write and where, not what the sheet is about.
