What this sheet is for

Some weeks, self-care is not a spa day or a long retreat. It is eating a real meal away from your desk, stepping outside for twenty minutes, and getting to bed at a reasonable hour. This sheet is for the person who wants to notice, without judgment, whether the quieter basics are actually happening across a full seven-day stretch.

How to use it

Write the Monday date in the Week of field at the top right. Each evening, work down the eight rows under Daily Practice and tick the checkbox for any habit you completed that day. At the end of the week, count ticks across each row and write the total in the Days done column — this shows at a glance which habits are holding and which are slipping. Use What helped this week to record anything that made the habits easier to keep, then write one concrete commitment in One habit to protect next week before you put the sheet away.

What is printed on the page

“Small Daily Self-Care Week” is laid out as weekly tracker table: eight labelled rows against seven day columns of checkboxes, an optional totals column, and two short note sections underneath. Under the title it reads “Track the quiet, ordinary practices that keep you steady through the week.”, and the line at the foot of the page says “Missing a day is not failure. Note what got in the way and adjust one habit for next week.”.

The row labels slot holds eight entries — “Morning routine kept”, “20 min outdoors / fresh air”, “Body movement (any kind)”, “Screen-free time (30+ min)” and “Ate a proper meal — not at desk” and three more — so the sheet is already filled in for self care rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.

The remaining labels on the page are “Week of” for the week label, “Daily Practice” for the row heading, “Days done” for the total heading, “What helped this week” for the notes heading a and “One habit to protect next week” for the notes heading b.

Two things about this particular weekly tracker table are settings rather than text, and “Small Daily Self-Care Week” has them set like this. Start sunday is off: start the week on Sunday instead of Monday. Totals column is on: add a totals column at the right of the table.

Tips

Tick at the same time each evening — linking it to a fixed moment, such as making tea, keeps the habit of tracking consistent.

A score of four or more days in any row is a solid baseline; aim to hold that before adding anything new.

If the same row stays empty by Wednesday, treat that as a prompt to simplify the habit, not to try harder.

The other layouts in this set

“Small Daily Self-Care Week” is one of three sheets in this set, each a different fixed layout filled for the same topic. “Daily Rest & Recovery Week” uses the seven-row week layout and “Boundaries & Recharge Week” uses the day boxes with goals layout. Pick by how you work: the layout decides how much you write and where, not what the sheet is about.
