Deep-Clean Rotation Planner
Weekly deep-cleaning rotation planner for adults tackling one neglected task per day, with focus goals and an end-of-week review.

What this sheet is for
This sheet is for anyone who keeps up with surface tidying but lets deeper tasks — descaling the kettle, wiping skirting boards, cleaning behind appliances — slide for weeks or months. Reach for it when you want to work through a backlog without overwhelming a single day, spreading the load across the week in short, manageable sessions.
How to use it
Write the current week in the Week of field at the top right. Under This Week's Focus Areas, note the room or zone overdue for attention, any supplies you need to buy before you start, and the single most-delayed task with a hard deadline for yourself. Inside each day box, write the specific deep-cleaning task, the exact area within the room, and a rough time estimate — the Cell hint reads Task, Area, Time needed to keep entries consistent. At the end of the week, fill in the End-of-Week Review to record what overran and what rolls forward.
What is printed on the page
“Deep-Clean Rotation Planner” is laid out as day boxes with goals: three goal lines across the top, seven boxed days in a 4 + 3 grid with a faint hint in each, and a two-prompt review box at the bottom. Under the title it reads “Schedule one deep-cleaning task per day so nothing gets skipped for months.”, and the line at the foot of the page says “Rotate starting rooms each month so the same areas do not always land on busy days.”.
The goal prompts slot holds three entries — “Room or zone due for deep clean:”, “Supplies to restock before Friday:” and “Task put off longest — do it by:” — so the sheet is already filled in for cleaning rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.
The review prompts slot holds two entries — “Which task took longer than expected, and why?” and “What will move to next week's rotation, and which day?” — so the sheet is already filled in for cleaning rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.
The remaining labels on the page are “Week of” for the week label, “This Week's Focus Areas” for the goals heading, “Task · Area · Time needed” for the cell hint and “End-of-Week Review” for the review heading.
Two things about this particular day boxes with goals are settings rather than text, and “Deep-Clean Rotation Planner” has them set like this. Start sunday is off: start the week on Sunday instead of Monday. Review box is on: include the review box at the bottom.
Tips
Write the estimated minutes beside each task; tasks under 20 minutes are far more likely to get done on busy days.
Keep a running list of skipped tasks in the review box so they appear at the top of next week's goals automatically.
Pair each deep-clean task with a regular daily chore to avoid giving up an entire day to cleaning.
The other layouts in this set
“Deep-Clean Rotation Planner” is one of three sheets in this set, each a different fixed layout filled for the same topic. “Weekly Room-by-Room Clean” uses the seven-row week layout and “Daily Cleaning Habits Tracker” uses the weekly tracker table layout. Pick by how you work: the layout decides how much you write and where, not what the sheet is about.
