Assignment Deadline Tracker
Monthly calendar for students tracking assignment due dates, submission windows and coursework handoffs, with a sidebar for goals and deadline reminders.
The PDF is built on your device from the layout and the text above; nothing is uploaded. If the preview does not display, the download buttons still work.
What this sheet is for
This sheet is for students managing several live assignments at once — the point where a revision timetable is not enough and every piece of coursework has its own submission date, draft stage or group-work dependency. Reach for it at the start of each month to plot every known deadline across the grid before the month's pressure builds.
How to use it
Write the month in the Month / Year field, then go through your course outlines and enter each deadline — essays, lab reports, presentations, online submissions — directly on the relevant day in the grid. Use the Monthly Study Goals sidebar to record the two or three bigger academic outcomes you want to reach this month, not just individual tasks. Tick items off the End-of-Month Checks list as the month closes to confirm nothing has slipped through. Use the Critical Deadlines box to highlight the one to three dates that carry the heaviest consequences if missed.
What is printed on the page
“Assignment Deadline Tracker” is laid out as grid with sidebar: a 7 × 6 month grid taking two-thirds of the width, with a sidebar of four goal lines, a six-item checklist and a reminder box. Under the title it reads “Map every due date, submission and coursework handoff for the month ahead.”, and the line at the foot of the page says “Transfer any unfinished assignments to next month's sheet the day before it ends — never carry them silently.”.
The checklist items slot holds six entries — “All drafts submitted on time”, “Feedback collected & filed”, “Reading list updated”, “Group work tasks delegated”, “Upcoming deadlines logged” and “Tutor meetings booked” — so the sheet is already filled in for study rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.
The remaining labels on the page are “Month / Year” for the month label, “Monthly Study Goals” for the goals heading, “End-of-Month Checks” for the checklist heading and “Critical Deadlines” for the reminder heading.
Two things about this particular grid with sidebar are settings rather than text, and “Assignment Deadline Tracker” has them set like this. Start sunday is off: start the week on Sunday instead of Monday. Reminder box is on: include the reminder box at the foot of the sidebar.
Tips
Write the submission method beside each deadline — portal upload, printed copy, or email — so there are no last-minute surprises.
Mark draft or outline due dates in a different pen from final submission dates so the build-up of work is visible at a glance.
Check the grid every Sunday evening and move any task that has slipped to a realistic new date rather than leaving it on a day already passed.
The other layouts in this set
“Assignment Deadline Tracker” is one of three sheets in this set, each a different fixed layout filled for the same topic. “Exam Revision Monthly Planner” uses the classic month grid layout and “Monthly Subject Focus Log” uses the day list layout. Pick by how you work: the layout decides how much you write and where, not what the sheet is about.
