What this sheet is for

This sheet is for the cleaning tasks that go beyond a daily tidy — the ones that need to happen at least once a week but are easy to defer. Reach for it when a room-by-room deep-clean feels chaotic or inconsistent, and you want a concrete record of what got done, what was skipped, and whether the habit is actually sticking across seven days.

How to use it

Write the Monday date in the Week of field at the top right. Each row in the grid names one deep-clean task — Scrub bathroom sink and taps through Empty and wipe all bins. Tick the box for each task on the day you complete it. At the end of the week, fill in Consecutive days done to see your best run. Then spend two minutes on the End-of-week review: answer all three prompts honestly to spot which tasks or days consistently fall through, and set one specific intention for next week.

What is printed on the page

“Weekly Deep-Clean Habit Tracker” is laid out as weekly grid: eight habit rows against seven day columns of large tick boxes, a streak count box, and a three-prompt reflection for the week. Under the title it reads “Track your room-by-room deep-cleaning tasks every day of the week.”, and the line at the foot of the page says “Wiping surfaces before vacuuming prevents settling dust from re-soiling floors you have just cleaned.”.

The habit labels slot holds eight entries — “Scrub bathroom sink & taps”, “Disinfect toilet bowl & seat”, “Degrease hob & splashback”, “Wipe inside microwave” and “Mop hard floors” and three more — so the sheet is already filled in for cleaning rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.

The reflection prompts slot holds three entries — “Which task did I skip most — and why?”, “What slowed me down or felt hardest?” and “One habit to do earlier next week:” — so the sheet is already filled in for cleaning rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.

The remaining labels on the page are “Week of” for the week label, “Consecutive days done” for the streak heading and “End-of-week review” for the reflection heading.

Two things about this particular weekly grid are settings rather than text, and “Weekly Deep-Clean Habit Tracker” has them set like this. Start sunday is off: start the week on Sunday instead of Monday. Reflection box is on: include the reflection box at the foot.

Tips

Assign each habit row to a fixed room day — for example, bathrooms Monday, kitchen Tuesday — to reduce decision fatigue.

Keep the sheet on the fridge or inside a cupboard door so it stays visible and does not get buried under other papers.

If you miss a day, fill in the missed boxes with a cross rather than leaving them blank so the review reflects reality accurately.

The other layouts in this set

“Weekly Deep-Clean Habit Tracker” is one of three sheets in this set, each a different fixed layout filled for the same topic. “Daily Home Cleaning Tracker” uses the 30-day grid layout and “Bathroom Daily Reset” uses the single habit layout. Pick by how you work: the layout decides how much you write and where, not what the sheet is about.
