What this sheet is for
Bathroom cleaning is easy to let slip because the tasks are small but the consequences of skipping them build up fast. This chart gives one person a clear, repeatable routine — the same ten tasks tracked across every day of the week — so nothing gets forgotten and the bathroom never reaches a full deep-clean crisis. It works for a teenager managing their own bathroom, a single adult in a flat or one member of a shared house taking a weekly rotation.
How to use it
Write the week's start date in the Week of field and your name on the This Chart Belongs To line. Each morning or evening, scan down the Cleaning Task column and tick the box in the matching day column for every task you complete. Not every task needs doing every day — the Days Done column on the right lets you count how many days that particular task was ticked by the end of the week, so you can see patterns. At the foot of the sheet, fill in a Reward for Completing All 7 Days before the week starts, giving yourself something specific to work toward.
What is printed on the page
“Weekly Bathroom Cleaning Chart” is laid out as weekly grid: ten chores down the side against seven day columns of large tick boxes, a name line above the grid, an optional days-done column and a reward line at the foot. Landscape. Under the title it reads “Track daily and mid-week bathroom tasks for one person, week by week.”, and the line at the foot of the page says “Rinse cloths and sponges after each use and hang them dry to stop mildew forming between cleans.”.
The task labels slot holds ten entries — “Wipe down sink and taps”, “Clean toilet seat, lid and handle”, “Scrub inside of toilet bowl”, “Rinse and squeegee shower walls” and “Clean soap dish and shampoo shelf” and five more — so the sheet is already filled in for cleaning rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.
The remaining labels on “Weekly Bathroom Cleaning Chart”, the cleaning sheet, are “Week of” for the week label, “This chart belongs to” for the name label, “Cleaning Task” for the task heading, “Days done” for the done heading and “Reward for completing all 7 days” for the reward label.
Two things about this particular weekly grid are settings rather than text, and “Weekly Bathroom Cleaning Chart” has them set like this. Start sunday is off: start the week on Sunday instead of Monday. Done column is on: add a column at the right to count the days each chore was done. Reward line is on: include the reward line at the foot.
Tips
Keep a small caddy of supplies — spray, cloths and a toilet brush — inside the bathroom so tasks take under five minutes.
Tick boxes immediately after doing a task rather than trying to recall at bedtime; accuracy helps you spot which tasks you consistently skip.
Set a consistent time — after your morning shower works well — so the routine becomes automatic within two to three weeks.
The other layouts in this set
“Weekly Bathroom Cleaning Chart” is one of three sheets in this set, each a different fixed layout filled for the same topic. “Kitchen Deep-Clean Rota” uses the by person layout and “After-School Tidy Routine” uses the daily strip layout. Pick by how you work: the layout decides how much you write and where, not what the sheet is about.
