About these baby Daily Planner sheets

All three sheets cover the core daily care tasks of early parenthood — feeds, nappy changes and sleep — but each is structured for a different level of detail. The Newborn Daily Care Log works hour by hour across a full 24-hour period. The Baby Feed & Sleep Planner organises the same information into three broader time blocks for a simpler daily record. The Baby Milestone Day Planner shifts focus toward development, activities and appointments rather than care counts.

Choosing between them

Use the Newborn Daily Care Log in the first few weeks, particularly if your baby is premature, has feeding difficulties, or a health professional has asked you to monitor output and weight closely — the time columns leave no gap unaccounted for. Switch to the Baby Feed & Sleep Planner once patterns begin to form and you want a lighter, less clinical record you can keep going for weeks. Choose the Baby Milestone Day Planner from around six to eight weeks onward, or any time a development check or vaccination appointment gives the day a different shape.

What each sheet contains

“Newborn Daily Care Log” is the time-blocked day layout — hourly schedule column 6am–9pm on the left; top-three priorities, a to-do checklist and a notes box on the right. Its priority prompts run to three entries, starting with “Feeding concern or goal today”, “Sleep pattern to watch” and “Symptom or question for doctor”.

“Baby Feed & Sleep Planner” is the three sections layout — three stacked, labelled sections of checkbox lines (e.g. morning, midday, evening), a tick-off tracker strip of eight items and a two-line reflection at the foot. Its tracker items run to eight entries, starting with “Vitamin D”, “Nappy cream” and “Wipes stocked”.

“Baby Milestone Day Planner” is the focus page layout — a large single-focus box across the top, three numbered must-dos and six could-do checkboxes on the left, a five-habit checklist and a notes area on the right. Its habit labels run to five entries, starting with “Tummy time done”, “Vitamin D drops given” and “Weight / growth noted”.

Printing

Each of the three baby Daily Planner sheets downloads as a PDF in US Letter or A4 from its own page, laid out in black and white so it prints on any home or office printer. Nothing on the page is carried by colour, the fields are sized for handwriting, and the same layout can be refilled with your own labels in the generator.
