What this sheet is for

This sheet is for students who have exams approaching and need to turn a vague intention to revise into a concrete daily plan. Whether you are balancing four subjects or fourteen, writing down exactly which topic you will cover, when, and for how long removes the decision-making that eats into study time. Reach for it on Sunday evening to map the week ahead.

How to use it

Start by writing the exam week's start date in the 'Exam week of' field. For each day, use 'Subject & Topic' to name the specific chapter, paper, or concept you plan to tackle — not just 'Biology', but 'Biology: cell respiration and ATP'. In 'Study Block (time / hrs)' write your planned start time and duration, then cross out and correct it in pen once you have actually studied. After each session, note anything unfinished or unclear in 'Still to Revise' so it carries forward. At the end of the week, fill in the 'Week-End Review' box to identify your weakest area, any imminent exams, and the first thing to open the following morning.

What is printed on the page

“Exam Revision Week Planner” is laid out as seven-row week: one tall row per day (Monday–Sunday) split into three labelled columns, with a three-prompt box across the foot of the page. Under the title it reads “Plan daily study blocks, track subjects covered, and log what needs revisiting.”, and the line at the foot of the page says “Aim to review each subject within 24 hours of studying it — spaced repetition improves long-term recall.”.

The column headings slot holds three entries — “Subject & Topic”, “Study Block (time / hrs)” and “Still to Revise” — so the sheet is already filled in for study rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.

The footer prompts slot holds three entries — “Weakest topic this week:”, “Exam(s) coming in next 7 days:” and “First session priority tomorrow:” — so the sheet is already filled in for study rather than left as blank rows to label yourself.

The remaining labels on the page are “Exam week of” for the week label and “Week-End Review” for the footer heading.

Two things about this particular seven-row week are settings rather than text, and “Exam Revision Week Planner” has them set like this. Start sunday is off: start the week on Sunday instead of Monday. Foot box is on: include the three-prompt box at the foot.

Tips

Write specific topics, not just subject names — 'Calculus: integration by parts' is far more actionable than 'Maths'.

Cap individual study blocks at 90 minutes and record the actual end time so you can judge your estimates next week.

Use the 'Still to Revise' column as a rolling to-do list — transfer unchecked items to the earliest free slot in the week.

The other layouts in this set

“Exam Revision Week Planner” is one of three sheets in this set, each a different fixed layout filled for the same topic. “Assignment Deadline Planner” uses the day boxes with goals layout and “Daily Study Block Tracker” uses the weekly tracker table layout. Pick by how you work: the layout decides how much you write and where, not what the sheet is about.
